Nothing says spring time more than a silk flower tree and ours are the best you can buy. Many people ask us how to make silk flower trees at home and it is really a very simple process. First you will need a nice piece of wood that you will use for a trunk, then you can purchase the silk tree stems you desire for the tree. Depending on the size and how full you'll want the tree will determine how many stems to purchase. Generally a 6 ft tree will have approximately 18 - 24 stems on it. If you are looking for any particular stem please contact us and we should be able to get it for you. Now you need to measure the size of the stem going into the trunk and drill holes at a 45 degree angle into the trunk that are slightly larger than the stem. Make sure you place the holes in strategic areas to make the tree look fuller and more natural. Next you will need a hot glue gun for when you insert the stems into the trunk you will want to put a shot of glue into the hole prior to inserting the stem. Continue this process until the whole tree is the way you want it to look then the only thing left to do is to find the pot you want to place it in.
